Dr. Lash Ampoule Long and Volume by Etude House blog Review

I perm my lashes quite frequently. I have rather long lashes for an asian girl but they point downwards so if I don't perm them, they poke into my eyes. My lashes became very dry and it broke and fell off really easily. I love my long lashes and was starting to get worried for them.

Perming lashes, eye lash extensions or even just curling your lashes with eye lash curler and even putting mascara on them damages your lashes.
This product is a definite lash saver! I used it for a week to about 10 days and my lashes are soft and healthy again. Not only that, it makes your lashes grow longer and thicker after usage. Mine grown from 6mm to 9mm in 4 weeks!

Dr. Lash Ampoule Long & Volume comes with 2 tube bottles as you can see from the picture. One of them is the Lash Renew which is an Overnight Lash Repair Treatment(there is a little moon on the bottle which symbolizes night use). It nourishes and strengthens limp and weak lashes overnight.

The bigger bottle is the Lash protect(there is a little sun on the bottle which symbolizes day use). You can simply apply on your lashes during the day or apply it before you apply your mascara to protect your lashes.

Cat eyes made easy

Hellooo to all of you out there... Thanks for watching my videos and reading my blog. Please don't be shy to leave comments.

Cat eyes are from the 60s. Recently, I noticed that cat eyes make up are becoming more and more popular again like in Korea TV & Kpop MTVs. You can also see many hollywood actresses and singers like Angelina Jolie, Beyonce and Rihanna.....etc all wearing the cat eyes make up.

But cat eyes are a bit tricky. You never know which angle to draw the tip and it is hard to get the angle of both eyes' tip to look exactly the same. Messing up the ends by drawing it too high or too low will make your eyes look weird.

In this video, I will show you how to make sure you get the prefect cat eyes look every single time using an easy trick. :) Watch the video to find out!

Lower lash eye Makeup

Yesterday, a good friend asked me for advise regarding a suitable makeup that will suit her sister in law. She said the gap between the eye brows and eyes of her sister in law is very close together thus many eyeshadow she tried did not look good on her. This is probably because there is not enough area on the eye lid to play around with eye shadow colors.

This video shows how to do a simple lower lash eye makeup which will take attention away from the upper eye and make your lower eye stands out. This eye make up is very light and natural but still kind of make your eyes sparkle. This look is also great if you wear glasses as it will bring balance to your eyes behind your frames.

Larger, brighter looking eyes

This video shows how you can use sliver eyeliner/eye shadow to make your eyes look brighter and larger. I tried to split the clip into 2 parts to make the resolution better.

Before starting the makeup, make sure you have concealed your dark eye circles and shade your eyebrows.

Signature Blossom Garden Blusher by Missha Review

Signature Blossom Garden Blusher by Missha

A great find during shopping trip today when I was pondering and staring blankly at all the different colors of blushers available. I was standing there for ages, trying different types and different colors again and again on my hand. Not know which color will suit me better. Cracking my brains thinking of which type of color blusher would suit the type of make up I usually wear and if I should get 1 or 2 types of colors? Maybe one darker shade for night make up and one lighter for day make up? I am sure many of you have the same problem when searching for a blusher that would suit you. When I nearly give up, I saw the above product.

The eye catching and attractive case of Signature Blossom Garden Blusher caught my attention at the side. It was on a different shelf to where all the other blushers were. I thought how great to get 5 shades of pink for the price of one. I could also mix and blend the colors together for even more type of colors. When I tried the tester, I thought YES! I am definitely getting this because it hasn't got too much glitter in the blush which I really like. I find that usually most of the korean brand blushers have too much glitter in them which annoys me.

It comes in 2 combination color types(photos above). I got the one which has the brighter pink in the centre. :) There is the other one with shades of brown with it. If you are finding a blusher from Missha, I totally recommend this because it is better quality compared to the other blusher range they have. Price of it was only about $15 USD which was after 30% discount. *thumbs up*

Fresh Juice C Serum (Whitening Care) Review

Blog Review for Fresh Juice C Serum (Whitening Care)

In Asian culture especially in Korea, fair skin is beauty. Well, I agree to a certain extent because I don't want my face getting too tanned and at the same time, I don't want to be overly fair too. But my skin gets dark very easily. Only 15 mins of sunshine and I can see the before and after difference of my skin color.

I am here to share with you the above Fresh Juice C Serum (Whitening Care) by Skin Food which is not an expensive product but it does work even if you don't use it everyday. It is a nano-engineered formula which helps absorption.

I find that it made my skin brighter with a healthier look because it evens out the uneven skin tone of the face. Any scars or marks left over by pimples/acne fades off faster too after application. It is non oily and refreshing.

Tip: Remember to always use your toner first before you apply your serum or creams. It increases absorption of the product.

Manuka mate nail Balm Blog Review + Nail Care Tips

Manuka mate nail balm by Nature Republic
I find this works really well for me as it not only moisturizes my nails and cuticles, it softens my cuticles as well. It gives nails a great natural shine after applying it, looks like you had a transparent nail polish on or something. I really like that it is not very oily. It is made from honey and coca beans therefore very natural and smells nice too. Great product that cost only a few bucks!

Here to share a few nail care tips. If you like putting on nail polish, this will be important for you.

Having nail polish on your nails for a long period of time stops sunlight and prevents your nail from breathing. Especially if you are using a high acetone nail polish remover, it dries out your nail a lot. Overtime, your nails will become yellowish and brittle.

Therefore you must:

1. Always use a base coat to protect your nails before putting on nail polish

2. Rest your nails for at least a few hours before putting on a new color. (I always rest my nails for at least a day before putting on a new color)

3. Try to use nail polish remover with low acetone content.

4. Moisturize your nails after removing your nail color

5. For extra nail care, you can get things like nail balms, nail essences and nail hardeners.

Laneige Multi Professional Shadow Blog Review

Today, I am introducing the Laneige Multi Professional Shadow by doing a Easy smokey eyes effect very suitable for Asian eyes... This is a night time make up. Great look for clubbing!

This is my first post and my first time recording a video so I felt a little strange and weird.
But hope you like it :)

Step 1 - Use a eye shadow sponge to line your top eye lid close to your eyes with the darkest color(black)

Step 2 - Then apply the 2nd darkest color(Grey) and apply it on the eye lid above the black

Step 3 - Blend the colors with a blending brush

Step 4 - Apply the blue eye shadow on top of all your colors and then the white on your brow bone to create more depth of your eyes

Step 5 - Apply again the darkest color on the outer corner of your eyes where the hollow of your eyes are and then blend again altogether with brush to soften the look

Step 6 - Line your whole eyes(top and bottom) with a brown eye liner. Bottom line try to make it a litter thicker than usual

Step 7 - Use mascara, try a few coatings on both top and bottom lashes to make them longer because you want to emphasize your eyes or you can just use fake long lashes

Step 8 - Remember to draw your eye browns with the brown eye brown pencil. (Sorry I miss this part out in the video)

Comments on the product:
This 4 color shadow platte is with 3 best matched colors for the beauty of Asian women(that's what they advertise). As Asian eyes are rather flat, smokey eyes look are not easy to achieve compared to the Caucasians which had deep set eyes so choosing the right colors for Asian smokey eyes is very important. Laneige Multi Professional Shadow had made it so easy to create the Hollywood celebrity smokey eye look.
